Spring Trends for 2017

Blog Post By: Tabitha Black & Victoria Uhrich

Hello Everyone!

We are so excited to be adding a blog to Panache! Our objective is to give you expert advice to help make your home exclusively yours. We look forward to sharing our favorite trends, and giving savvy guidance as you mold your house into the perfect home.

Our friendship began through Panache, and has grown into a fun-loving, honest, crazy, wonderful bond. Here is a little about each of us:

Hey Everyone! My name is Tabitha Black and I have been working for Panache since August of 2015.  In college, I studied interior design, and business management. I have a passion for art and design of all types. I love expressing myself through creativity as well as admiring the creative accomplishments of others. “Creativity is intelligence at play,” I always say.  When I’m not at work I enjoy anything from hiking, to sitting in my yard with a glass of wine while my cat Ziggy roams. Ziggy was a stray cat before we adopted each other, and now I can’t imagine life without him. I do my best to live and love every day to its fullest, and being in the design field helps make that possible. I can’t wait to hear from you all and to help in making your house feel like home.

Hello! My name is Victoria Uhrich, and I love pretty things. As simple as that may sound, it completely describes my personality and style. I have been with Panache for a year and a half now, and Amarillo has been home for a good majority of my life. I am a West Texas A&M graduate with a Communication Degree and a Wedding and Event Planning Certification. The Lord was gracious enough to recently place me as the wife of my high school sweetheart, whom I utterly adore, and I could not be happier or more in love. I hold a strange obsession for anything elephant, and Fixer Upper is my absolute favorite show. The Panache girls tease me for how often I talk about Joanna. I promise we are best friends-she just doesn’t know it yet. I love putting a smile on the faces of those around me, and my hope this blog grants you that same cheerful disposition.

So without further ado…. Welcome to Perfectly Panache

This time of year when the sun is coming out and trees are blooming, we often look around our homes wishing they were as fresh and beautiful as the weather outside. There are so many ways to make the inside of your home as inspiring as the artistry you see outside. This week we have put together trends for spring 2017 that you can incorporate effortlessly.

Fabulous Spring Florals

April showers bring may flowers…….but who really wants to wait that long. Adding an arrangement to your home is a foolproof way to include some freshness to your home without having the fuss of replacing them each week. Pair a beautiful arrangement of your choice with a couple cute books to add a fresh pop of color to your home, just in time for spring.

Blue-tiful

Blue is back! While this color goes in and out every few years it always seems to be a favorite among designers and clients. Rooms with hues of blue inspire feelings of serenity among its inhabitants making this color a wonderful choice for your home. The deep blues that the industry is leaning towards currently, create a bold and beautiful look that you’re sure to love for years to come.

Modish Marble

Modish Marble

Marble is everywhere, and we adore it! Marble has introduced a fun new way to add a little lux to your life. It can be found anywhere from the counter tops in your kitchen, to the bookends on your shelf. If you’re wondering whether to get on board with this trend, our answer is DO! We at panache forecast that this trend will be hanging around for a while.

Tossing in  Textures

Mixing textures is a great way to add some depth to a room. Whether the textile is woven, beaded, leather, or fur, each piece has its own personality and together they make the perfect eye candy.

Friendly Farmhouse

Country Farmhouse

Johanna Gains brought the farm house look back and made it trendy. Accomplishing this look is more than making everything wood with mason jars, but about adding a little history and warmth to your home. Leather, reclaimed wood, distressed furniture and raw metal are some of our favorite farmhouse styles.
